Purple Chronic Pain LionSEPTEMBER IS CHRONIC PAIN AWARENESS MONTH.

SHOW YOUR PURPLE!

All these conditions cause Chronic Pain, with some of them the individual looks normal from the outside, but the constantly suffer with Chronic Pain:

• Crohn’s Disease
• Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy (DPN)
• Leg Pain
• Loin Pain-Haematuria Syndrome
• Lupus
• Lyme Disease
• Neuropathic Pain
• Peripheral Neuropathy
• Low back pain
• Arthritis, especially osteoarthritis
• Headache
• Multiple sclerosis
• Fibromyalgia
• Shingles
• Nerve damage (neuropathy)

The list goes on and on, I myself suffer with severe Peripheral Neuropathy, and it causes many a sleepless night. To look at me I look fine, but it is starting to affect my gate when I walk, and someday I will no longer be able to drive. By choice I will not take pain pills, or Neurontin as it has too many side effects, (Anyone taking Neurontin, please beware and have your kidneys checked, my cousin is on Dialysis because of Neurontin) and I do not want to be a Zombie from the pain pills.

I do not recommend anyone with Chronic Pain to do what I am doing, most of the time it works for me, but there are times when I wish I had a pain pill to take. I currently rub White Flower Analgesic balm on my feet, it does help it is available at most Asian markets.

Just another note, a lot of individuals with Chronic Pain look and act normal, but the majority of us are in constant pain. We are not looking for pity, at least I am not. We are just asking you to understand how we feel, and there are times when Chronic Pain sufferers just can’t do things, or do not feel like doing things.

Plant seeds of happiness, hope, success, and love; it will all come back to you in abundance. This is the law of nature.
– Steve Maraboli

Chronic Pain is not failure
Chronic Pain is not a cry for attention
Chronic Pain is nor something you choose

Chronic Pain is……..
Something that happens
A Disability
Real!

“Chronic Pain is one of the most underestimated health care problems in the world today. We believe chronic pain is a disease in its own right.”
Professor Harald Brivik, W.H.O.

There are very many resources to choose from (just Google Chronic Pain), just please choose wisely before trying any medication, and please read the warnings.

I am sure there are many stories out there of people who also suffer with chronic Pain. Please feel free to post your comments about them!

As always Rusty Loves you and peace out!
